HealthTech Innovation: Even Healthcare

Even Healthcare is rebuilding health insurance around staying out of the hospital, not just paying for it once you're admitted. Built as a managed care model, it bundles unlimited doctor consultations, diagnostics, specialist access, and preventive care with optional cashless insurance, so members get continuity of care instead of a policy they only open during an emergency.

3/ Top 5 Startups in MedTech
Ultrahuman: Ultrahuman is building a connected longevity ecosystem around smart rings that track sleep, recovery, HRV and women's health. That wearable data adds a useful layer of insight for preventive care, especially in cardiology and endocrinology.
Bioscan Research: Bioscan Research's CEREBO uses near-infrared technology and AI to detect brain bleeds without a CT scanner, making faster TBI screening possible right at the point of care. That matters most for emergency physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons and trauma specialists.
Translead Medtech: Translead Medtech's Stand at Eaze chair helps people sit and stand independently, with no electricity or controls involved, a simple engineering fix for an everyday mobility problem. It's especially relevant to orthopedic specialists, neurologists and geriatric care providers.
SigTuple: SigTuple automates blood and urine analysis with AI, helping pathologists work faster and bringing diagnostics to areas that don't have easy access to them. It's built to support both pathologists and clinicians by taking routine analysis off their hands.
Neurostellar: Neurostellar's Orbit is a wearable EEG headband that measures focus and cognitive performance in short sessions, turning brain activity into insights people can actually use. It's most relevant to neurologists, psychiatrists, sleep specialists and clinicians assessing cognitive performance.
4/ New Frontiers: Rising HealthTech Pioneers
AiSteth is India's first AI-enabled stethoscope, turning heart and lung sounds into spectrograms and waveforms doctors can see on their phone, not just hear. It doubles as a traditional analog stethoscope and a connected digital one, flagging anomalies with AI and enabling remote second opinions. FDA 510(k)-cleared, it has already screened 25,000+ patients for valvular heart disease in Bengaluru.

Mykare.ai is an AI-native patient engagement platform built for clinics and smaller hospitals that can't staff a 24/7 front desk. Its voice AI agents answer every patient call, qualify leads, follow up on bookings, and update the CRM automatically across 20+ languages, so no enquiry falls through the cracks after hours.

5/ Mergers and Acquisitions: Indian Healthcare
Cyrix Healthcare acquires Blue Star E&E's MedTech Solutions business, adding to its CT and MRI installation, maintenance, repair and refurbishment capabilities. The deal gives hospitals a single provider covering the full imaging equipment lifecycle, from installation through repair.
The Moopen family raises its stake in Aster DM Quality Care, buying ₹350 crore worth of shares and taking its total holding to about 24.58%. It's a clear move to tighten promoter control of the merged hospital platform.
ChrysCapital is set to buy a 20-25% stake in Chennai-based Linux Laboratories for around ₹600 crore. Tata Capital Healthcare Fund will exit its entire stake as part of the deal, and fresh capital is also going into the company, giving the CNS-focused formulations business room to fund its next stage of growth.
Warburg Pincus is set to acquire Universal NutriScience, the maker of Seacod, in a deal worth roughly ₹2,700-2,800 crore. It reflects growing investor appetite for nutraceuticals, as demand for preventive health and nutrition products keeps climbing.
